SLU Students Share Occupational Therapy for Literacy with Sacred Heart First Graders

Prof. Lenin Grajo and Masters in Occupational Therapy (MOT 1) students represent the Saint Louis University Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy to promote Occupational Therapy for Literacy as part of the 2013 OT Global Day of Service on Monday, October 7. The team conducted multisensory reading and writing activities in 4 classrooms at 2 elementary schools and distributed almost 200 books and hundreds of literacy supplies donated by faculty and students of the program to promote meaningful engagement in reading and writing.
