Learning about the Saints

November began with the celebration of All Saints Day, and students throughout the deanery spent time focused on learning more about the lives of the Saints in some creative ways.

Several classes, including the 5th grade students at St. Rose Philippine Duchesne and Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, researched and studied about the history of their favorite Saints and then brought them to “life” in a “Saints Wax Museum,” where students dressed as their chosen Saint and shared a little about his/her life and importance to the Church with their classmates and others in attendance.

At St. Angela Merici, students decorated bowling pins as favorite Saints and placed them in the parish for the enjoyment of parishioners and visitors. Below are a few photos of the bowling pin saints:
