Historical Fiction Author Visits Our Lady of Guadalupe School

Our Lady of Guadalupe School is a VERY busy place where our children are learning and growing every day. In the past weeks, in addition to all of our school work, we have had visitors! We were happy to welcome student nurses from LutheranSchool of Nursing who helped us learn about handwashing techniques, good nutrition, and healthy living.

We were also treated with a visit from Ms. Anola Pickett, a professional author. She spoke to our students about her career and about her latest work of historical fiction, Whisper Island. Ms. Pickett helped our students learn so much about

writing and about the eastern seaboard of our country. OLG students and staff are so grateful to the many, many people who support us in so many ways. Thanks especially to the OLG community for your loving support of our school.
