Art Room Gets Summer Makeover at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta School

Thanks to a generous gift of 40 gallons of paint from the True Value Foundation's Painting a Brighter Future grant program, the BTC Art Room received a breath of fresh color and creativity this summer.

Located in the basement of the school building the art room receives minimal natural light and the bland blue and beige walls were showing their age. That's where the renovation began--old walls were reinforced and smoothed with dry-wall compound, and the entire space was covered with coats of a sparkling bright white to lighten up the environment. Then some touches of creative inspiration were added as art-themed images were painted on a number of the walls and columns. Read more in BTC's e-news.
