During the 2012-2013 school year, St. Norbert Catholic School will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary as a school in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. St. Norbert opened its doors in 1988, with students in grades Kindergarten through Third Grade. Each year after, it added a grade and doubled a grade until, in 1996, it had two of each grade. Six years ago, St. Norbert opened the St. Norbert Early Childhood Center which is currently located at St. Sabina Parish. Presently, we have 448 students in PreK – 8th Grade. Plans for the celebration are under way and will include current as well as alumni students, teachers, and parents. St. Norbert is a school community “committed to encouraging and nurturing each child to reach their full potential by providing knowledge and skills for a lifetime of learning. In the Spirit of Jesus and the teaching tradition of the Catholic Church, the student is challenge to see the good in other, to seek understanding of our multi-cultural world and to respond to community concerns with empathy and active compassion”.
