Post date: May 4, 2015 9:18:29 PM

During the last week of April students at St. Angela Merici collected food for the poor. Each day had a theme, thanks to the school's Student Council.

  • Monday: Needin' some Noodles;

  • Toothpaste Tuesday;

  • Wednesday: Seriously need Cereal;

  • Thursday - Rice is nice too!;

  • Friday - Wrap up the week (any food wrap products).

They collected over 520 items for the food pantry. Great work, St. Angela Student Council!!

On May 1, the school celebrated the feast of St. Joseph the Worker. Dads were invited to come to school with their kids for prayer, focusing on the foster father of Jesus. After the 8AM Mass, they enjoyed breakfast in the gym and ended the celebration with entertainment from students.

The St. Angela Drumline and our cheerleaders have been putting in a great deal of time practicing. They participated in the St. Patrick's day parade in March, as well as the Valley of Flowers parade in Florissant on May 3. Congrats to all who have been working so hard to represent St. Angela School in this fun and unique way.
